Norwegian is a Germanic language with approximately 4.5 million speakers. It is mainly spoken in Norway, where it is the official language, and exists as two variants: Nynorsk and Bokmål (the latter is closely linked to Danish and is more widely used than Nynorsk).
At Ampersand, we work with professional translators who are native speakers of Norwegian, hold a degree in translation and interpreting (or similar qualifications, depending on their country of origin), have been trained by Ampersand, have extensive experience, and translate from various languages into Norwegian.
Likewise, we collaborate with professional translators who are native speakers of the translation’s target language, hold a degree in translation and interpreting (or similar qualifications, depending on their country of origin), have been trained by Ampersand, have extensive experience, and translate from Norwegian into their native language.
